Neighborhood Centers

Our Neighborhood Center provides the school community a variety of out-of-school-time opportunities for students and families. We work to provide comprehensive programming that meets the need of the community. This includes: a five day a week, licensed before and after school program, partnerships with community organizations for diverse enrichment programming, and family and adult programming.

“The First Tee of Denver has enjoyed working with The Neighborhood Center for Cory and C3. Having them has made my job easier, my staff is able to show up and provide a fun program for the kids. I highly recommend the model they use to any after school program!”
~ Erica Yates, Partner with First Tee of Denver

“As a parent, there are countless benefits to having a dedicated resource ON CAMPUS to run enrichment and kaleidoscope.  In the past, we had parent volunteers and others running enrichment and it was always a struggle (resource changing year/year, programs in/out without explanation, little flexibility around offerings or changes). With a dedicated person on site, there is relationship, accountability, flexibility and results.  It feels like a partnership because it is.”
~ Maria Dutmer, DPS Parent

“Having gone through several different organizations that have run our after school programs, our current program run by The Neighborhood Center has been superior to them all. He is organized, has great communication with staff, parents and students. They are always accessible for questions and any problems or situations that may arise. There is a wonderful variety of programs offered to the students.”
